The Masks of Christ. Behind the Lies and Cover-Ups About the Man Believed to Be God

Article number 10223517

Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince reassess the historical evidence concerning Jesus and distinguish between the historical figure and the later theological image of Christ. They compare canonical and non-canonical sources, question traditional accounts of the Nativity and ministry, and examine Jesus' relationships with John the Baptist and Mary Magdalene. Their argument is intentionally revisionist and challenges established Christian interpretations, so the book is best read as a controversial alternative reconstruction rather than a neutral consensus history.
