The International Design Yearbook 1994, edited by Ron Arad with Jeremy Myerson and Jennifer Hudson, presents an international overview of contemporary design in furniture, lighting, tableware, textiles and products. Created with graphic designer Neville Brody, the volume focuses on technological innovation, new ways of perceiving and making objects, computer-generated textile patterns, handheld remote controls, environmentalism, a more conservative design climate and a more human design language, with work by established designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Nanna Ditzel, Kenneth Grange and Gaetano Pesce alongside younger talent.
