The Templar Revelation. Secret Guardians of the True Identity of Christ

Artikelnummer 10223225

Starting with their investigations into Leonardo da Vinci and the Turin Shroud, Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince argue that clues in Leonardo's work point to a clandestine religious tradition. They trace this alleged tradition through the Cathars, Knights Templar and Freemasons back to early Christianity, concentrating particularly on Jesus, John the Baptist and Mary Magdalene. The authors propose an alternative interpretation of Christian origins and claim that elements of this tradition survived secretly for centuries; these claims represent the authors' controversial thesis rather than established historical consensus.
