Simple Thoughts is a monographic publication accompanying the retrospective exhibition held at iMAL (Brussels, 13 November – 14 December 2014), showcasing over forty years of computer-based art by Belgian artist Peter Beyls. The book presents a curated selection of machine drawings—visual works generated through algorithms including cellular automata, linguistic structures, and artificial intelligence systems. It includes more than 70 illustrations alongside four audiovisual installations.
